We collect personal information about you when you or someone associated with you uses our system.
The personal information we may collect includes:

- Your contact details, including address, email or phone number
- Information about your horse / animal
- Entry information including information about accommodation
- Results of events you have entered
- Membership information
- Payment information
- Communications with you
- Details about your computer and browser
- Your interactions with our website and emails, including the pages you click on and emails you open.
How is your personal information collected?
The majority of personal information is collected directly from you. However, personal information may also be collected from an event organiser or someone making an entry on your behalf or volunteering you to assist.
Is it compulsory to provide personal information?
It is optional to provide personal information. However, if certain personal information is not provided, we may not be able to provide the services sought or you may not be able to enter events.
How do we use your personal information?
We use your personal information for a variety of reasons including to:
- Create and manage your account
- Process entries for events
- Record and publish results of events
- Communicate with you
- Answer your inquiries and provide customer services
- Making improvements to our services and customer support processes
- Administering our website for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, security and statistical purposes
- Meeting our legal or compliance obligations
- Managing and resolving any legal or commercial complaints and issues

We may send marketing or promotional communications to you by email or text where you have indicated you would like to receive these. Who do we share your information with?

- Your entries and results are made publicly available
- Event organisers in order to arrange and run their event
- Any person you authorise.
- With payment providers in order to make payment.
- Where communication is sent by text we may share your information with the platform provider to enable delivery of messages.
- Where we are using Google Analytics your information will be disclosed to Google for use as detailed within Google’s Privacy Policy. Google may share this information publicly and with their partners.
- With law enforcement, regulatory bodies, legal advisors or similar third parties.
We do not disclose your personal information to any third party other than those described previously, subject to where we are legally required to do so or where you have provided consent.
Some of your personal information may be shared outside of New Zealand / Australia. Where we disclose your information overseas, other than making it publicly available, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in accordance with legislation.
