Entries
I've paid, but my entry isn't showing
Entries take about 20 minutes to appear in My Entries after payment. If it's still missing after that, contact us.
Can I still enter after entries have closed?
Usually yes. Most events keep accepting late entries right up until the event finishes, with a late fee — you'll be shown the amount and asked to accept it before you can check out.
Can I change or scratch my entry myself?
No — entries belong to the event organiser once submitted. Use Change or withdraw on My Entries to send them a request. See Managing your entries.
Why am I being asked for arrival and departure dates?
Because you've taken a yard or a camp site at an event that collects them — always where the fee is charged per day or per night, since the dates set what you pay, and wherever else the organiser wants to know when you're arriving. They're required even when the yard itself is free. Events charging a flat fee for the whole event often don't ask at all.
I've entered — can I add yarding or an extra fee afterwards?
Yes. The event page offers Add accommodation and Add optional fees shortcuts that take you into the entry form at the right step, without re-entering your classes.
Your account
Can my family share one email address?
Yes — several accounts can use the same email. Each person needs their own name, date of birth and, importantly, their own password, or we can't tell who's signing in.
Do I need to be an ESNZ member?
No. An EvoEvents account is free and open to anyone; the ESNZ number is optional. Individual events may have their own membership requirements.
How do I stop the alert emails?
Turn individual alerts off under My Account › Event Alerts, or stop them all at Unsubscribe — the link in any alert email and in the footer of every page. That switches alerts off for every account on your email address.
Horses & animals
Why can't I edit my horse's details?
Once a horse has an ESNZ number, its registered details come from the ESNZ register and are shown read-only. You can still edit its Re Trainer, racing name, other societies and anecdotes. Anything else needs to be corrected with ESNZ.
It says I already have a horse with that name
Then you do — we won't create a second record with the same name. Look for it under My Account › Animals; if it's genuinely a different horse, contact us.
Where do I put my Australian PIC?
On the animal's Details page, under Other societies — choose Aus. Property Identification Code (PIC) and enter your code. It's stored per animal, so add it to each one travelling.
Can someone else enter my horse?
Yes, if they're linked to your account. Use Assign to on the animal and pick one of your linked riders — the horse then appears in their list when they make an entry. You can only assign to riders you're linked to, so link them first under My Account › Linked Accounts (see Entering for someone else).
Can I advertise a horse for sale?
Yes — each animal has an Advertise option under My Account › Animals, where you can also give the web address of your advert. Advertised horses are listed on For Sale with their details and a link to their results.
Where can I see horses for sale?
The For Sale page lists every horse currently advertised, with its breeding and details and a link to its competition results. Adverts are placed by owners — enquiries go directly to them, not to EvoEvents.
At the event
How do I contact the organiser?
Every event page has a Contact organiser button, which emails that event's organiser directly.
Can I volunteer?
Where an event is looking for helpers, its page has a volunteering option — choose the roles you can help with and the organiser will be in touch.
Where do I find the draw or timetable?
On the event page. The class tab is named for where the event is up to — Draw, Live or Results — and events that publish them also have Timetables and Entries tabs.
Where are the emails the organiser sent me?
My Account › Messages holds every email and text you've been sent, across all events, newest first — see Your messages. Each event's My Comms tab still shows just that event's.
Results & receipts
Can I get a receipt?
A PDF receipt is emailed with your confirmation once an entry is paid, and can be downloaded again from your entry.
Can I get an invoice?
Yes — Request invoice beside the event on My Entries. It covers all your entries for that event and is emailed to you, usually within 24 hours.
Where are my dressage scores for each movement?
On a dressage scorecard, open a rider's score to see the movement-by-movement breakdown where the organiser has published it.
Can I get results texted or emailed to me?
Yes — turn on text me my results or email me my results under My Account › Profile.
